Dr Archibald Masiyambiri

Dr Archibald Masiyambiri is an experienced GP who enjoys the detective work of medicine—helping patients make sense of complex symptoms, chronic conditions, and long-term health goals.

He has over 15 years of medical experience across Zimbabwe, Namibia, and the United Kingdom. After qualifying with an MBChB in 2009, he built a broad clinical background in both hospital and community settings before being awarded Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in the UK.

Dr Masiyambiri brings this international experience into General Practice with a calm, thorough, and adaptable approach. He values continuity of care and believes the best outcomes come from building strong, long-term relationships with patients and their families.

He is passionate about helping people live healthier, fuller lives, with a strong focus on listening carefully, understanding what matters most to each patient, and working together to achieve meaningful and realistic health goals.

His clinical interests include chronic disease management and prevention, particularly diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and healthy ageing. He also enjoys managing complex and multi-factorial presentations and takes a structured, problem-solving approach to diagnosis and treatment.

With a background in acute medicine and respiratory medicine, he brings a broad clinical perspective to General Practice and has a keen interest in developing further skills in minor surgical procedures. He enjoys the variety of family medicine and caring for patients across all stages of life.

Having recently relocated to Queensland, Dr Masiyambiri is excited to join the Morayfield community and looks forward to providing care for individuals and families in the area.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys swimming, travelling, and working on home improvement projects. He finds satisfaction in restoring and repairing things around the home and enjoys learning new skills and taking on practical challenges. His curiosity and problem-solving mindset extend beyond medicine and shape the way he approaches patient care.
