Billing Policy

For many years, Morayfield Family Doctors has been dedicated to serving the Moreton Bay community. Throughout this time, we’ve consistently delivered professional care to our patients. Our doctors are renowned for their experience, approachability, and reputation in the region.

As many would be aware successive governments have failed to increase Medicare rebates in line with the rising cost of providing medical care. As a consequence, many doctors have been transitioning to a private billing policy over the past few years to maintain standards. We’ve remained committed to providing essential services, particularly during the challenging times of COVID-19. Our priority is delivering the highest quality medical care to our patients, while also maintaining acceptable wait times, exceptional doctors, alongside excellent services and facilities.

To maintain this level of care and expand our services further with the rising costs of general practice, we’ve updated our fee structure. Our dedicated reception staff are working hard to keep patients informed throughout this process. Your well-being remains our focus, and we’re excited to continue serving you with the best possible care.

PRICE STRUCTURE

*This pricing is applicable ONLY for GP visits. All other specialised services will incur their usual fee.

*Please Note: Patients will only receive a Medicare rebate or be bulk billed for Telehealth appointments if they have visited the clinic in the last 12 months. If they haven’t, fees will apply.
