Clinical Trials Have Started

We have recently begun conducting flu and strep throat clinical trials. Participants must meet a set of requirements dependant on the trial but it is free to participate and there is a voucher reward upon completion. For more information go to www.joinourtrials.com or PH: 07 5456 3797.

Diabetes Consultation

On Saturday the 23rd of September at 8:30 there will be a community consultation event held at QUT Caboolture for people who are living with diabetes. This event is organised and hosted by members of Health Hub Morayfield which has plans to open some of its services on December 11th. Health Hub Morayfield wants to hear from you in a relaxed, community focused consultation event. Morning tea will be provided and there is free parking at the campus.

Health Hub Morayfield

Health Hub Morayfield is a $100 million dollar healthcare facility that will include a fully functional minor accident and illness clinic, general practice, and a large range of allied health services which will be predominantly bulk billed. Health Hub is aiming to lead the way and help set the future standard for what true patient centred care looks like in Australia. Recently Moreton Bay Regional Council’s Mayor Allan Sutherland inspected the site and said, “ Health Hub (Morayfield) will play a vital role in helping meet current and future healthcare needs in a region where the population has grown by more than 12.5 per cent in just the past five years, and will be home to more than 618,000 people in the next two decades — more than a third of which will be aged 50 and over.”
